The aim of this research is to explore the attitude of the viewers of series with sexual education content from different countries (such as Italy, Greece, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and the USA) and their connection with sexual and mental health behaviors. Insight into multiple variables will be gained by gathering some information about sociodemographics and series-watching habits. Furthermore, the aim is to investigate how some psychological variables such as epistemic trust, function reflection, mentalized affect, sex-positive attitude, and empathy may be able to mediate the relationship between the use of television shows, attitudes, and propensity to ask for help. Results from this study could be useful in building prevention strategies to improve sexual and mental health awareness and access to professional care.
